Artisanat et Creations Fall/Winter 2010

Taking a cue from Japanese streetwear while maintaining a tradition of luxury inspired design, Artisanat et Creations comes to us this Fall with a collection of rehashed basics, (read classics,) that are hand made, and designed with the utmost attention to detail.

In fact, it’s all in the details. With a brand motto that reads “Less is more,” it’s easy to see how a sleek leather pocket might elevate an otherwise regular cotton shirt. (Take a look at the leather crewneck below as well.) Another nod to craftsmanship and luxury, the leather has been treated, colored and finally handpressed using the most “traditional” of methods, in Morocco.

The desired effect of this collection was to successfully merge know-how, tradition, luxury and streetwear, according to Yassir Raïs, the Creative Director at Artisanat et Creations. Up to you to decide, a success? We think so.
